The Conservatives Can’t Afford a Coronation.

I posted this yesterday to my twitter feed. It’s a summary of my thoughts on why the federal Conservatives are really doing themselves a disservice by not encouraging credible challengers to contest Peter Mackay as leader of the party. I do think Michelle Rempel ought to consider a run for the top job as I think she’d at least force a number of hard conversations the Conservative Party needs to have with itself if it wants to be relevant to Canadians. Who knows what will happen though. In the meantime here are my thoughts on the current status quo, enjoy!:
