As you may remember from the last few days, myself and my colleague at The 905er, were invited on as panelists with the Community Climate Council‘s webinar on the province’s proposed Highway 413.
It was a fantastic webinar with an estimated 100 attendees. I have to say the panelists were passionate and informed about all aspects of this topic. What struck us most was the wide attendance of people from across the 905 who would be impacted by the highway’s development. Opposition to this project comes from a wide swath of Ontario. The provincial government would be wise to pay attention to the criticism it is hearing.
